All of the Paint Colors Throughout Our Home.
Finally getting around to answering the most common question that I receive almost daily: what are the paint colors in our home?! So today, I’m taking you around the house and sharing exactly what we’ve painted each space. I’ll do a separate post on wallpaper!
Quick disclaimer: I used the same paint combinations in a number of rooms and the color looks different in each one! It looks good, but different. So, it’s always important to test paint on your walls before committing to it. Everything from natural light, time of day and the furniture that you add to a room can completely change the way in which a paint color is presented on a wall.
First up, our living room! This room receives the most natural light because most of the walls are window walls. The trim color throughout the room and on the fireplace is Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace (one of my favorite bright whites). We used it throughout our home on about 95% of the trim. The paint color on the upper walls is Benjamin Moore Silver Chain.
Our dining room trim is also Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace and the walls are lined in grasscloth wallpaper.
Our den walls are Benjamin Moore Silver Chain (which looks darker in here compared to the living room because our den is north facing!). The trim color is Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace.
Our entryway hall is also Benjamin Moore Silver Chain with Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace trim.
Around the corner in our mudroom, we switched things up a bit! All of the trim is Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter and the walls are wrapped in wallpaper.
Our downstairs powder room trim is Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace and the walls are wallpaper.
Upstairs, our hallway is painted Benjamin Moore Silver Chain — this is the darkest that this color appears in our home because the hall gets very little natural light.
The trim in both Jacob’s bedroom and Ava’s bedroom is Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace and the walls are fully lined with wallpaper.
The guest bedroom is asked about a lot. The trim is Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace but the walls aren’t painted — they’re wallpapered with the prettiest light gray and white floral design. In some photos the walls appear to be painted but I promise it’s wallpaper!
Lastly, our primary bedroom: The walls, trim, window sills and doors are all painted Sherwin Williams Aesthetic White in a matte finish! I love how warm and cozy the room feels.
I’ve included photos of each room within this post but feel free to comment below if you have any questions at all! I’ll follow up this blog post with a separate post linking all of the wallpaper in our home next :)
