Our Outdoor Furniture (on sale!).

Most of our outdoor furniture is currently on sale so I thought it was the perfect time to share it all with you! This week only, Serena & Lily is having it’s big outdoor furniture sale where you can save up to 30% off. When we moved into our home, I purchased a few sofas, tables, etc. from Target and while they were beautiful, they only lasted one year (despite being covered for the winter months). A classic “you get what you paid for” scenario. So, we donated it all and decided to start fresh by investing in furniture that would last. We live in New Jersey and have harsh winters but also have wonderfully warm weather in the spring/summer/fall and spend a lot of time outside.

So we wanted pieces that would be comfortable, look beautiful, be kid-friendly, and of course do well in during the harsh winter months. The first item we ordered, was the Pacifica Sectional from Serena & Lily. It was expensive and I went back and forth a lot because finally deciding to purchase it, but I’m so glad that we did. We’ve had it for four years now and it still looks absolutely perfect. The frame of the sectional looks like rattan but it’s actually powder-coated steel that withstands everything!! I love the color and how it blends so perfectly with our backyard. It’s seriously pretty but more importantly, it’s durable.

The cushions are super performance outdoor fabric (we have the in-stock fog color). I leave them out app spring/summer (covering them up on the sofa if we have a downpour) and wash them at the very end of the season before winter hits. They wash PERFECTLY. And the sectional is so comfy. It’s currently $2,000 off!!

I paired the sectional with these side chairs, which are also totally weather-proof and so comfy! Around the corner, we have a pair of these rocking chairs that the kids have officially claimed and if I sit in one there’s immediately a fight as to who gets the second one. For our coffee table, I feel in love with the Boonville table because it’s so unique looking and truly feels like it belongs in our backyard. We have the large size and Serena & Lily just recently released it in a new extra-large size that I also love!

One last item that’s part of the outdoor sale and I love so much is this planter, which I have three of. We keep two by our front door and a third in our dining room (they’re so pretty — 100% great for indoors too)!. There’s a draining hole at the bottom so plants do really well inside. I swap in seasonal flowers throughout the year and in the winter, I place two large pre-lit trees inside for a little extra glow by our front door. Currently on sale!
