What I Bought This Week (01.22.23).
I’m starting something new today and we’ll see if it sticks! Each week, I find myself buying products for the home, for myself, or the kids — and I thought it might be helpful to share them with you all too. I could be a new coffee table book that’s received great reviews, artwork, or something for the kids.
Each Sunday, I’ll share a roundup of these products with links and some background on why I purchased it (and yes, everything that I share here will be something that I purchased with my own money — not a gift from a brand).
So here we go! These are the products that I bought this week:
1. I saw this table lamp online and immediately ordered it. I’ve been looking for a lamp for our dining room console that has some character and I think this just might be it! I love the deep blue/gray color and the shape is really unique. I also like that it isn’t too large, so there’s
2. The leather tissue box that we have in multiple rooms of our house also comes in a rectangular version and I have no idea why it took me a year to figure this out! Months ago, I accidentally ordered two cases of tissues in rectangular box form and rather than return them, I decided that it made more sense to order a cover to fit them. When I saw my favorite pebbled leather tissue box cover was available in this size as well, it was a no brainer.
3. Earlier this week, I decided to hang a mini gallery wall on the wall between our kitchen and mudroom and these are the frames that I’ll be using! They’re super affordable but look high end and are available in multiple sizes. For a brass frame, this is my go-to! Stay tuned for the art pieces that I’ll fill them with!
4. Lucky joined our family this past week and suddenly, our house became overrun with new dog toys and balls. I ordered this basket because it’s currently 20% off and I’m a big believer of only purchasing items that spark joy. Something can absolutely be useful and beautiful (and should be!). Since all of these dog toys will likely be stored in our living room, I wanted a basket that blended in with the rest of our decor and this basket is it!
5. I tried to order this cast metal candle tray a few weeks ago when the collection first launched, but it sold out immediately. BUT, this weekend it was finally restocked so I immediately ordered it (along with this brass bowl). I love the tiny feet and can’t wait for it to arrive. It’s definitely something I’ll be using all year round (the bowl too!). I’ll share how I style it once it arrives.
6. I was gifted LAKE Pajamas a few weeks ago, and haven’t been able to sleep in anything else since! They’re truly that good! Soft, super comfortable, and so cute. So, this week I ordered matching sets for the kids for Valentine’s Day and they’re so cute! Lots of different styles and patterns but I chose the candy cane. Can’t wait for them to arrive!
7. I mentioned earlier that I’m planning a mini gallery wall downstairs and this Minted print is one that I kept going back to… so I ordered it! Planning to pop it into one of the gold frames that I shared above. Can’t wait for it to arrive!
8. Maybe not the most exiting purchase but I’ve heard great things about this top coat of polish and decided to give it a try! It apparently works with any nail polish brand and dries and hardens your polish in 5 min. I’ll let you guys know if it works!
9. When I ordered the basket for Lucky’s dog toys, I ordered this one as well! Planning to use it in our bedroom for blankets. Love the height of it, but there’s also a shorter version (and it comes in navy too!). 20% off with code UPGRADE!
