Holiday Tablescape with MacKenzie-Childs.
The holiday season is always my favorite time of year. I love to add twinkly lights, greenery, and decor throughout every room of our home to create a warm and inviting environment – and our dining room is no exception! So today, I’m sharing some of my favorite MacKenzie-Childs products and how I’ve used them to create a holiday tablescape perfect for entertaining friends and family.

When creating a tablescape, I first think about the feeling that I want it to evoke and then the general look that I’m going for. Some years, I’ve kept it really neutral and minimalistic, while other years I’ve gone more over the top. For this holiday season, I’ll be using lots of winter greenery and will accentuate it with pops of black, white and gold from MacKenzie-Childs!
The very first pieces from the collection that caught my eye were the Gingerbread Cookie Trees. There’s just something about gingerbread this time of year that always draws me in and reminds me of childhood. My mom loves gingerbread and for years, we’ve been making gingerbread houses together (more recently, with my kids!). The gingerbread cookie trees look absolutely edible and they sparkle in the light. I love them so much!!
Next up, was the centerpiece. I love using pine and other greenery throughout our home this season and wanted something sprawling on the table. The Farmhouse Triple Candleholder Centerpiece fits in perfectly (and I love that you can add a few flameless candles within it to really light up the table). While any pillar candle will work, I grabbed three Courtly Check Flicker candles to add that special MacKenzie-Childs pop of black and white. They come in a few sizes but I went with the 6’’. Another really special and unexpected piece that I added was a pair of Ribbed Sphere Candle Holders. With taper candles inside, they give some height to the table and allow me to add more candles (which, during the holiday season, is a must!). I especially love that I can use them year-round in other parts of our home.
It wouldn’t be a MacKenzie-Childs table without more check, so I layered in the cutest pair of Checkmate Deer and then topped it all off with Sterling Check dinnerware (I love it in the new gray colorway!).
Below are all of the pieces that I used for the tablescape:
I absolutely LOVE how our holiday tablescape turned out and plan to reuse these pieces year-after-year.
