My Summer Bedroom Retreat from Walmart Home.

Now that our family is fully vaccinated, we’re excited to finally host houseguests again… which also means that we needed to get our guest bedroom cozied up and ready to go!! With the help of Walmart Home, I was able update our bedding and create a relaxing and welcoming retreat for guests.

I added this wrinkle-resistant sheet set to the bed, which is incredibly soft and washes like a dream. The best part is that it’s less than $40 for the queen set (and only $45 for king!). I’m actually planning to order another set in the blue pinstripe for Jacob’s bed. You know I can’t pass up a good stripe!!

I also chose this super soft and lightweight blanket to fold at the foot of the bed and these tasseled stripe throw pillows, which add the perfect amount of texture. The pillows just might be my favorite part of the look! They come in three colors (I have the gray but they’re also available in a blue chambray and a pale yellow). They look like something you’d find at a more expensive retailer but they’re actually less than $13 and they’re gorgeous!! Definitely an item that will sell out soon so snag a pair while you can!

Here’s a look at our updated guest bedroom! Everything I chose was affordable but looks (and feels) like a million bucks. I love mixing high and low and this is a perfect example of just that. Can’t wait to put this bedroom to use soon!
