Home for the Holidays: Entertaining with Walmart's Holiday Hosting Collection.

Fall is the busiest time of year for most people but it’s always extra crazy for us! Between the Jewish holidays, the kids’ birthdays (and our own birthdays), Halloween and Thanksgiving, we do a lot of entertaining. But despite the craziness of the season, it’s still my favorite time of year and I love to entertain at home. So when Walmart offered to help me pull together this year’s fall tablescape, I jumped at the opportunity! Walmart’s Holiday Hosting Collection is amazing and has everything you need for entertaining this holiday season — all at unbeatable prices. Everything from table and barware, to seasonal decorations and even furniture to complete any room in your house before your guests arrive!

The very first thing I chose from the collection was this table runner, which is beautifully stitched and fits in so perfectly with our decor:

I LOVE the grey and cream together — it’s rustic but still sophisticated and so, so affordable. Matches our entire home, so it would work just as beautifully on our kitchen table or even on top of a dresser (and it looks much more expensive than it is!) There are even matching placemats, which I might have to pick up next!

I always add natural elements to a table so this garland was the perfect choice — it’s full of faux leaves, pumpkins, and berries and looks so realistic — I put two strands on the table. I also really loved this one. And you can see that I also repurposed the gold lanterns from our front porch. They’re great for both indoor and outdoor use and coordinate beautifully with the other elements on the table.

I also included a mix of real and faux mini pumpkins, tall candlesticks, and even moved the wreath from our front door to the dining room to cozy up the place.

Another favorite touch are these mercury glass pumpkin votives, which are absolutely beautiful when lit (and really gorgeous just sitting on the table too!). I filled them with regular mini votive candles but I also picked up some of these pumpkin spice-smelling votives to use on Thanksgiving day.

If you like the idea of adding votives to your table but don’t love the pumpkin shape, I also found these, which are season-agnostic and come in a bunch of different colors (would look beautiful on a holiday table but there are also fun colors that would look sweet for a kid'‘s birthday party!!).

I loved setting this table and can’t wait to actually sit around it with our family this season! A big thank you to Walmart for its help with this. Definitely check out Walmart Home’s Holiday Hosting Page for inspiration and to shop everything you’ll need for this holiday season!
