Runners in the Bathroom.
I'll be the first to admit my obsession with rugs. I just love how they complete a room (and how cozy they feel under foot). But rugs can also be expensive (especially if you have larger rooms to fill). I'll be sharing a longer post soon about how to choose a perfect (and affordable) rug for nearly every room -- but today, I'm going to focus on the unsung heroes that are typically overlooked: runners.
Runners are great. You can find them in nearly every style and material, and they cost a fraction of the price of a larger rug. My favorite trend at the moment is ditching the traditional bathmat and putting a nice runner in the bathroom. You wouldn't believe what a difference this makes, transforming the room into, well, a room (vs just a place where you shower). Drop a runner down the center of the bathroom, beside the tub, or in front of your vanity. I promise you won't be disappointed!
I recently purchased this runner for our master bathroom and couldn't be happier with how it looks in the space:
It comes in a few other colors (I had a hard time deciding between the cream and the olive colors) and is even an extra 25% off at the moment (making it soooo cheap!). Here's a tiny peak at how it looks in our bathroom:
Clearly, Chewie is thrilled to have something comfy to lounge on while I'm getting ready in the morning.
I'll be sharing a full reveal of our master bathroom soon so you can see more of how the rug looks in the actual room, but in the meantime, here's some serious eye candy via Pinterest. You can thank me later!
